On Wednesday the 3th November 2010 we met at the” Filmtheater am Friedrichshain”. There was the 3th International Short Film Festival-KUKI in Berlin.

Review: „The Gidji“:

The film (8.40min) from Pat Herford was taken in Australia (2009).

It acts about Trent who found a boy (Douglas). Douglas buried himself in the sand. He was breathing with a snorkel. Two silly boys had stolen all his clothes. He helped Douglas and wanted to go fishing with a gidji, but then the both played a trick on the two boys. On the spot Douglas was buried and put the snorkel on the point where it was linger in the sand. When the boys came they think Douglas is in the sand. “By pure chance” Trent came with the gidji in his hand. And “By chance “he drilled his gidji near the snorkel. The boys were shocked and thought Douglas is dead.

I find this is a interesting film and I like it.
