Today (17.11.2010) we went to the "Filmtheater am Friedrichshain". Our class was divided in groups. Our group was concentrated on the film"Bro". The director of "Bro" is Chris Dundon. Bro is a Short Fiction which was producted in England, 2009. The film belongs 18 minutes.

The film was well-acted; the actors were ablo to act like in real life. The cut was to fast and there were no special effects or something else like this.

“Bro“ is about a youth (Simon) and his autist brother which is embarassing for him. The youth must care his brother all the time, because his mother has always to work. But Simon falls in love with a local girl, a  assistent in a shop. He want to meet the girl but he do not want that the girl see his autist brother. Finally his meeting is a great succes for him, altough the girl sees his brother.

I think the film is very good. Bro is well-acted, interesting and like in real life. But the cut is bad and the story has got a boring end, too.

I think the film was brilliant because the story is real. Another ground is the actors play their roles brilliantly. Finally I mean “Bro“ is a film for everyone.
