It is usefull to start by saying that London is an amazing town. The arrival was kind of hard because we had to get up very early to be at the airport at 6. We were all very tired when we arrived at London Gatwick. Our hostel was called „The Phoenix“ and at first it looked very nice. It was kind of a pub and we had to go upstairs to our rooms.

We, the Leistungskurs English, chose to spend our Kompaktwoche on an expedition to London. On an early Tuesday morning we found ourselves at Schönefeld Airport, a little tired because of having slept hardly three hours, but ready to take off and later find our way through the jungle that is the British rail and underground system.
